Gravel Calculator
Eight grades, each with its own weight per cubic yard.
Gravel is priced by the ton and planned by the area, and every grade weighs something different. Each of these applies the density of the specific stone rather than one average figure.
Eight grades, each with its own weight per cubic yard.
Tons and coverage by rock size, from 1-3" to 3-5".
Patios, dog runs and the joints between flagstone.
Tons, yards and stabilizer, with compaction allowed for.
Every calculator here returns the same three things: cubic yards, tons and a bag count, because suppliers quote in all three and rarely in the one you asked for. Each also shows its working, so you can check the figure rather than trust it.
Densities come from one shared table, which means a chart on one page can never contradict the tool on another. Where a material genuinely varies, the page says so and lets you type your own figure in. Nothing here needs an email address.
